You must have missed the entire first page.
Do you understand how futile it is to have a volume passer in a counter-attacking side?
It really is brilliant that JK can tell Bradley to complete a 3-yard sideways pass 30 yards into his own half knowing that the players around him will just immediately clear the ball.
Michael Bradley played in an Arteta role last night, which is a waste of the talent he has. It would be an entirely different story if the US had midfielders/defenders around him who could receive a pass in their own half and string together a decent bit of possession. Then he would be priceless.
I disagree 100%, I really don't think you could be any more wrong. You move Bradley up the field, and who are you going to rely on to collect the ball from the back 4 and distribute it amongst the team? Maurice Edu, Danny Williams, Jermaine Jones?
Jurgen has Bradley playing in a position that gives him the absolute most touches possible.

for one thing the back line should be able to handle that better than ours does, also some teams move the ball up the sides but not with our sub fullbacks.
But really though Beckerman or Edu would work fine as a defensive possession recycler.

This is why he needs to be box to box.
