Very similar to Xabi except he has never fully been a box-to-box player. He's the perfect combination of a DLP and holding mid. Strong in the air, on the ball and in a tackle. Massive passing range.

His great stamina and work rate is something we should really take advantage of.


Have you seen Ilkay Gundogan play much? He's the reason why I wish Michael Bradley could play for Jurgen Klopp. Their games have some similarities but the growth Gundogan has made recently is insane. He's gone from a decent attacking mid to a great all around midfielder.


I think playing with a guy like Stuart Holden would also help Bradley -- another guy who is a good passer and a competent enough tackler so Bradley doesn't have to play with his dick in his hand.



With the way the system is inevitably changing for the US, I wish Bradley would have been born a year or two later than he was.
