Jones' reputation is that of a good recruiter. He was given ample opportunity to prove that as soon as he got to Lsu, and that is somehow a bad thing?
You're essentially arguing he was put at a disadvantage by being able to fill a team with "his players" faster than if he had inheritied a full team of leftovers. Why is that?

That's not true at all. It's clear that, on paper, the talent on the roster has been upgraded. The end results of the first 2 seasons lean much more towards showing the level of play to be at the status quo rather than a clear upgrade.
