Slow day..Excluding the playoffs because the 09 season and other landmark plays like Hakim dropping the ball would all be up there. What was your favorite/most memorable regular season Saints moments you can recall. Can be funny, wild, sent us to playoffs etc.
I'm only doing games I was alive for so pretty much 90- present for me:
My top 3: (all happen to be after 2000)
1. Gleason's blocked punt. Loudest I ever heard the Dome, was just awesome in so many ways.
2. The River City Rally vs Jacksonville and the ensuing missed extra-point. Biggest high and low.
3. Drew breaking the TD record against Atlanta.
Honorable mention: Turley ripping off the helmet and throwing it, Joe Horn pulling out the cell phone, the entire 09 Patriots game.

I agree with all of them, but ill add in Meech chasing down the redskin player and stripping him of the ball. hell that entire redskin game was a prime example of how our season was gonna go.
Gleason's blocked Punt will always be my fave memory of all time.
i think the jacksonville game was one of the 1st times I had gone histerically happy for the team, and then enraged when the kick was missed - single fastest mood swing of my life LOL.

That's also crazy. Gleasons play is the greatest regular season saints play ever, but as far as memorable.
Meat hems strip and RCR are just one in a billion plays

Week 16 of the 2006 season versus the Giants was a pretty good Saints moment that gets forgotten.
We crushed them 30-7 with their only score coming by way of a 55 yard touchdown pass. If I remember correctly, this marked the third time in NFL history a defense prevented the opposing team from snapping the ball beyond midfield.

Those are all the most memorable but I'll never forget seeing hebert's teeth get knocked out.

I agree Meachem's strip was really fun as hell.
Nice, never seen that. My Dad always tells me random stories. One that stood out was we lost a game battling for a playoff spot or something because Stan Brock I think got a lugi hocked in his face and punched the dude in return so we got a crushing penalty (or something like that). Mora walking off the field was pretty classic as well as the Ditka crotch grab to the stands.

I don't. One of those frustrating moments that made 09 so great

Punt block, Hurley toss, etc
Was also fricking awesome to be at the regular season game vs the dolphins in '09 comin back from down 21-0. We had 3rd row seats and so much shite was talked from both sides when their teams were ahead

Considering we have made the playoffs what 9 times since 1967 you're leaving out a whole lot of stuff that had some significance to a lot of people in different ways.

Maybe not favorite, but memorable.

Also will always remember the first game Rickey came back after the vette accident. To a kid, his facemask was pretty much the definition of badass.
