Laird is currently in the 2 hole and only has 2 steals. 2-4. Right now, Bregman is a much better base stealer then Laird is.

Don't need speed for this. The guy behind you should be putting the ball in play. You can hit and run with Brad Cresse on first. Speed isn't necessary.

Speed helps with this obviously, but it's also about being a good base runner. Getting a good jump off of the bat and rounding the bases well. Being a good base runner can make up for a hell of a lot in lack of speed.

I can respect this, this makes sense. I see why you don't want to put him in the 2 hole, I just don't agree with some of your reasons. I don't think I've really ever disagreed with anything you have said other than this.
