I'm just goin out on a limb and say that it's hard to compare those stats outright because we play in two completely different conferences. Put TCU in our shoes last year, and us in TCU's and see how we fair.
You crazy bro? I don't even need to explain myself here
You might be right saying that based on stats, TCU is better. We were quite inexperienced at CB last year, but I think we'll be shut down this year. Those kids are coming into their roles very nicely it seems like.

I stated right above Team advantages BASED ON STATS haha
and their DLine has more experience than ours.. how is it crazy to say they have a better DLine coming in than ours?

Ehhh... you can't just compared stats and say TCU has a better DLine... Think about the teams we play and the teams they play. You HONESTLY think their DLine is better than ours? Heck... you really think ANY position will outmatch one of ours?
Posted on 3/25/13 at 9:54 am to Reda LSU
Great post but IMHO its hard to compare our Dline and Lb'ers with TCU because only one of our Lb's was a starter but the other 3 guys are going to be str8 beast same with the dline we have a lot of guys who haven't had significant playing time because they played behind great draft prospects but they will excel. I know this will sound bias but despite not having a majority of starters last season I believe the advantage goes to us when it comes to DL and LB. Again this is just MHO

I love it, i agree, but its safe to say every year has players just itching to get onto the field to display their talents. at LB depth, i would definitely say LSU, but i was juts basing off stats haha
for DLine, their freshman was what we expected our of anthony johnson his freshman year, but we never got to see it yet since he never started.

Also this is not baseball you can't really give the advantage to a team based on stats. LSU recruits freshman who would start at TCU over three year starters at TCU.

This isn't based on stats because Pachall didn't play last year.

Pretty sure he played the first 2-3 before removing himself from football?

etty sure he played the first 2-3
So based on his stats against 4 horrible opponents you would say that he is = to Mett who played an entire season in the SEC?

Pretty sure he was suspended, he didn't remove himself from the team.

what? He started all of 2011 and had 25 TD vs 7 Int. Mett had roughly 12 TDs and 263 overthrown deep balls.

you are so mad trying to win an argument on how awesome Mett is through semantics. Take a walk around the building to cool off.

I'm not trying to win an argument. I simply said you can't base a comparison off of 2012 stats given that Pachall was suspended for the vast majority of 2012. You're the hardass trying to come in here to look cool.
