I'm in oilfield sales and thinking about getting a job in the plants. How good are the operator jobs? From what I can gather they are pretty good jobs.

Pretty laid back job MOST of the time. Great pay and benefits (if with the right company). Shift work isn't for everyone but most operators seem to love it. I'm pretty sure Exxon Baton Rouge is hiring right now.

they are good. the pay is good, benefits are good and without overtime i only work 6 months a year.
