Hate to hear that...

I read stories like these all the time and hear of coyotes working as packs/teams. It occured to me that in all the time I've been hunting and with having seen dozens of coyotes that 95% of the yotes I've seen have been by themselves. I've never seen more than 2 at any time. Am I alone here?

been around COYOTES an awful lot since early 80s..

and only time I have seen more than 2 is momma with young uns

My theory is we (meaning hunters) see them around dawn and dusk - they haven't packed up yet.

I killed 2 and gut shot 1 during deer season. They came bouncing their asses across a 12 acre hay field right at daylight, and I wreaked havoc on their mangy asses. To be honest though, that's only the second time I've seen more that 2 at one time.
