Ive never shot a rifle I like more than the 700 i have. That being said, after it cost me 2 deer last year im not sure I can bring it with me again. Mainly in part that the gunsmith never identified the problem, only replaced parts.

I love my rifle. The last few years I have only taken it out in August or September and put 2-3 rounds through it to check my zero. The last 2 years I have taken exactly 2 shots each year with it that were not at a deer. Both times my holes were touching about 3/4 of an inch above the dot. Even if I never feel confident bringing it in the woods again, it is the only gun my old man ever bought me, so it ain't going anywhere.
