Avy is Mt. St. Elias, 18,008 ft tall and the second highest continental mountain in the world, base to summit. The Mts in the sig pic are the Coast Range, and the Mendenhall Valley here in Juneau with the Northern Lights, as seen from the north end of Douglas Island where I live.
We actually have more miles of hiking trails here than miles of road.
