It could also work against us. If we fill that DE spot then that leaves other top tier talent on the outside looking in, they commit elsewhere, and then we are playing catch up with them if DG doesnt make the grades.

thats all part of the game. if we land willis and clark we will be in excellent shape. does anyone know how big DG is and whether he will end up inside at dt.

This.

We took 5 DE's in the 2014 class if you count Beckwith at DE. I think we hold a spot for Willis and will be a little cautious at next spots. Justin Thornton out of Mobile Vigor has LSU in the lead and he is #114 on Rivals and has a heavy offer list from most of the bigs. DG is #208 and his offer list right now is considerably lighter. I think LSU might take him as a "under the radar" candidate if he has a good summer camp or fall season...
