I'm fine with it as long as it can be backed up by more than "GRRRRRR I'M ANGRY WE'RE LOSING AND WANT IT TO STOP NOW SO FIRE THE COACH BECAUSE IF HE WERE A GOOD COACH THIS SAME TEAM WOULD BE IN THE PLAYOFF RACE" I don't think many of the Monty haters are being honest with how bad this team is supposed to be right now. The expectations might be more realistic if Gordon was living up to expectations, but he's not.

That was always said with Asterisk Gordon being healthy. If Gordon could follow up those 17 point first halves with just 10 points in the 2nd Monty would be taking a lot less heat on this board. Whether or not that'd be a good thing is another question, but Gordon being the closer everyone hoped for would make Monty seem like a much better coach.
