Davis is on the superstar track for sure....Lillard, I don't know.

I completely agree that AD is on superstar track, but so is Lilliard. Averaging 19 and 7 in his rookie season is pretty ridiculous. CP average 16 and 9 his rookie year, Westbrook 15 and 4 just to compare. Yea, he plays 36 minutes a night. But a lot of good players do. AD doesn't. Not sure why not, but that's just how Monty is using him. No point in knocking in Lilliard because he plays 36 minutes a night and AD doesn't.

And Lilliard is closer to his ceiling I Agee, but that's because he's 3 years older than AD. And it's really hard to compare a PF to a PG and saying 1 will be miles ahead of the other. Lilliard is already an adult compared to AD. His game will become more effiecnt and polished. AD will make a massive leap because he's still what 19? Lilliard won't make that leap because he's already past it. But he will become more efficient. I mean it is just his rookie season. I can't remember another PG in recent years average what Lilliard is averaging in his rookie year, except Iverson. Who averaged a ridiculous 24 points and 7 assists.

In a few years, both guys will be at the top of there positions and in the NBA. :

The thing with Lillard is that he will never be an efficient scorer. He'll probably put up 22 ppg in his prime, but it will be on 42% shooting. He'll always post high turnover rates because of how he plays, and I can't see his defense getting to a respectable level.

He'll put up "star" numbers, but he'll never be a star player.

meh...paul and westbrook were 20 when they came in the league.

Westbrook and Paul are MUCH better defenders.

It's not difficult to take shots, but it is difficult to be an efficient player...CP3 could have scored just as much as Lillard if he played more minutes/took more shots....He's better in just about every other category and 2 years younger(PER of 22)...Lillard will never enter Paul's universe.

Lillard is having a better season than Westbrook's rookie year. Westbrook has figured it out now though, and he has something that separates him from mostly all other PGs in the league--superior athleticism/explosiveness.

...Lillard doesn't have that. He could easily become only an inefficient scorer. He could hone his skills and get a lot better, sure. He's a good player, just not gonna be a top PG in the league, imo. Brandon Jennings with worse defense.
