I was 13 when Jack had 86' Masters. But my Dad watched it. And he could have given two shits about golf. But HE stopped and watched.

I'm 48. And yes, the 86 Masters was magical, no question about it. Jack had been written off and made the other guys wilt, just like he had done some many times before.
The 97 Masters was magical as well. No one was more fascinated with Tiger than me, and it was great to watch him. He dominated the next decade much like Jack did the 60's and 70's and early 80's.

I don't get all of these young guys who never saw Jack play, giving all this credit to Tiger. I guess it's who you see play I suppose.
Today, Tiger has less majors. Is that the only measuring stick, no. Jack won from the 60's-80's consistently. My point to all is if you are going to throw around GOAT, you have to compare the other contenders, not just the one you are watching today. That's all.
