When I was at school at Auburn we went outside our trailer one night ( hold off on the trailer jokes lived in it for 4 years and sold it for more than I paid for it.) and shot the Auburn/Opelika phone book with a .22. Damn Auburn/Opelika phone booth is only about 1/2" thick. Dumbass neighbors called the cops and we convinced them that it was only fireworks. We also used to shoot our bows down the hallway of the trailer. We got pretty good with that 15 yard pin.

Some of my friends who sometimes shoot guns in similar circumstances have been known to pop off a few firecrackers while shooting the guns. That way they can show the remnants of the firecrackers if the cops do come by.
