frankfurt, so its basically a little over an hour from me. I can look past Guetta esp if he does not play the shite he was putting out from about 2009-2012

Looks (semi) horrible.
I used to like Axwell about 6-7 years ago when he actually made good house music. He's another one who sold out to Top40 cheese.
Edit: Sven Vath and Lexy & K Paul are cool.

I don't care what anyone here says. Until you seee this music live at a giant club in germany or czech republic, you really can't comment. It is some of the most fun ive ever had.

this is true, I been into the scene about 10 years now and have been to the guvernment in Toronto multiple times but nothing touches how it is over here. Im going to sensation this weekend in Belgium

So because it's popular in Germany and Prague i'm supposed to like it it too?
I'm sure if you take enough molly raging with 50,000+ people is fun, but house music is incredibly boring to me.

You asked the question, I answered.

Not what I'm saying. I'm saying that you have to go to the clubs there to hear it and appreciate it. It doesn't translate to the United States as well. Different atmospheres. We don't have 5-story discotechques.

I didn't like it until I went out and raged in Berlin, Prague, Budapest, etc.

ehhh in big cities like DC,NYC and LA yea but its different you gota look nice just to get in the clubs. Hipsters have fricked up the electronic music scene in the states, thank god none of that shite here

Totally disagree with you there chief. If anyone fricked it up, it's people who don't belong. It wasn't a Guido scene originally. People wearing Ed Hardy, Affliction and Versace glasses fricked it all up.
At least Hipsters have a sense of what music is.
Did you ever attend rave parties in the early to mid 90s? When it was underground, it was a lot more fun and the music wasn't so predictable. It wasn't so Big Business with stupid sponsors etc.

Not my style.
Headliner is garbage.
Seen Tiesto multiple times. His following of people is mostly what i hate about big parties.
To the guy saying you cant appreciate til you see it over the pond, youre full of shite. Ive been going to parties since the late 90s and ive never once heard that nonsense from anyone. If anything, my buddies from london always say they cant wait until they come back to the states to party

House music is just too generic for me, i dont care if 5 million people go to shows in Germany or wherever for that matter, doesn't change the fact that it's a 3 chord progression to the same repetitive beat

thats why the electonic music scene is messed up here. All the guido/affliction people fist pumping and making it miserable for everyone else. Like i said european music doesnt translate well to the states. When you go to a discotechque/rave overseas, its normal fricking people dancing and having an awesome time. Hot arse chicks dancing every where wanting to make out with you. Ethiopian dudes in the basement floor discho selling rolls. Ive never been more entranced in my entire life. it was nirvana.

I like hipster electronic but it aint even close which is more fun. The venues hipsters play are too small as well. The sound has no volume to it. Seeing this live in europe is just a completly different experience.

that's not the only kind of electonic music they play in germany.
