You leave out that Pippens 31 season is when the bulls won 72 games. Now correct me if I'm wrong, a team with a lot if wins will naturally create a higher win share

So Pippen's prime coincided with the greatest team of All Time? Color me shocked. Also, he racked up Defensive Win Shares (throughout his career)like candy.

They may be equal per 100 possessions, but Wade A) shoots more and B) scores at a more efficient clip, thus making it more impressive.

But Pippen creates just as much offense so "better shooter" or not Pippen does was just as effective-which is what matters,Also, in player per possessions it every time the player touches the ball-not overall team possessions-i.e. Pippen handling it 100 times vs. Wade 100 times equivalent points produced for the team.

Equivalent offensive players, but with one being the superior defender, So yes Pippen > Wade.

That stat doesn't account for the unknown fact that Pippen may or may not be able to keep up that efficiency with more shots or more touches.

Except the fact that the two metrics are not reflective of one another, one tracks touches per possession, one points per possession that is independent of touches in a single game.

no its not. Because the stat is predicated on hard numbers, and what they actually do in the game. Meaning Wade is still taking more shots, and still producing at a more efficient rate

you know who else has the same offensive rating as them? Brian Roberts.

It's a metric that is drawn out over 100 possessions for a reason.
