I said I'm tired of this being an issue in my daily life.

Hell, sports, ESPECIALLY BASEBALL, used to be an escape from all the days' issues and distractions. Now it's just another place for somebody to voice their opinions and such. I blame this partly on things such as ESPN and all the other sports media outlets we have but sports are for our entertainment, not our soundboard for the day's political battles.

If I wanted to hear something about politics I'd go to Fox News.

Because to me that's pretty much the definition of saying minorities shouldn't have a voice. Maybe that's not what you're trying to say, go ahead, I'll listen.

As for the rest, it's not an issue until you make it one. Don't make a big deal about gay people, accept them for who they are, and this becomes a non-issue.
