Once you make a decision to carry, your outlook on these things has to change. There are no times where it will be ok for you to participate in the jawing and shite talking back and forth. You have to be able to ignore and walk away. If the person will not let you leave and you feel in danger, thats a different story.

100% agree with this statement. without a doubt you assume responsabilities that go beyond justifying a homicide. Your patience and calmess in situations where you are not carrying have got to be controlled. I am not too prideful to walk away, or do whatever i can to leave the situation. in other words i do not care if im deemed a pussy or coward in the public's eye if that means i did not have to possibly fire on someone and run many risks such as stray bullets, being wrongfully accused, sitting in prison for a while, etc.
i just feel like there is a small chance that it could become a possibility and wanted some input.

This is the correct answer. If you are carrying, the only way you fight is for your life. If you are attacked, you just happen to be very well prepared for that contingency. If you are getting verbally abused, tough shite. Leave.

This is the only correct answer. You can't get into fights and carry. If you can't stop escalating verbal tensions you do not need to be carrying.

I used to be a brawler (in fact I bounced at some large clubs) so I can handle myself better than average, but unless I am defending myself - and I mean really defending myself or family I do not fight.

Now if need be, I will kill but now a days there is nothing between peace and killing when it comes to personal protection.

Walk away, or shoot away nothing in between.

I don't have much to add after reading this statement. Turn your back and walk...I am too old and have too much to lose in a fistfight.

Let's say I "win" and knock his teeth out, break a: nose, jaw, arm...whatever. I am getting sued. There is no such thing as a "Good Ole Bar Fight" anymore. The 1980s-1990s of barfights are over. Somebody or everybody is going to jail and getting served to boot.
