but there has to be a line drawn to determine what level of obscenity is acceptable.

Isn't it an obscenity regardless? So you'd be okay with a line drawn in the sand that says its acceptable for your child to hear "shite," but not "frick"? I mean, where does it stop? I just love all the older folks getting feathers ruffled about their children hearing cuss words at a game. Yet, when they were students, they didn't think twice about yelling whatever came to mind at a game regardless of who was around.

Yes it is obscenity regardless of how "severe". and each parent has to make the choice on what they want their kids to be subjected to. My point is that the admin has to make the same determination on what is good for the institution, not as short-sighted as a college kid's view of "cussing cause i can". I never said or claimed that i have always been respectful, but i'm not going to whine about the admin deciding to take steps to end orchestrated, group obscenity attached to songs played by TGBFTL. that IS an embarrassment to the majority of fans.

and if college kids (which at one time i was one) are gonna demand that they are gonna be trashy in their chants and everybody can get over it, then don't whine when the other side of the debate reacts by taking out songs to stop enabling orchestrated obscenities.
