I find Kim Anh's pho to be borderline awful---it tastes like a packaged mix to me, nothing but salt & MSG. No subtle spices, no star anise, roasted ginger, or cinnamon. Meh all the way. If I worked across the street, I'd eat it for lunch, but I'm certainly not driving out of my way to get it.
Pho Bang on the Westbank is pretty good, as is the Metairie one. Pho Sunrise in Kenna...
My two faves are Pho Tau Bay and Pho Danh 7, the pho shop inside Hong Kong Market, with the pho at the Dong Phuong restaurant ranking third because of the generous herb plate.
