You do realize that NBA teams frequently lose to EuroLeague teams, right? In 2010 FC Barcelona beat the Lakers in an exhibition match of EuroLeague champ vs NBA champ.

Don't get me wrong, NBA teams generally dominate these games, but Euro teams win often enough where it is no big deal when they do win. The NBA is 42-9 all-time vs. the EuroLeague.

Now what would the NBA's record be if those 51 games were against NCAA teams? Unless you say 51-0, you're probably wrong.

Bottom line: the observation about Euro teams being weak is way, way off. Don't be fooled by some of the second-tier or B club teams the touring collegians often play against. I'd say the best EuroLeague teams could make the playoffs in the NBA.

I'm obviously not talking about the euroleague. Everyone knows about the euroleague which is a collection of the absolute best euro pro teams. What most folks dont know about is all the countries have their OWN leagues where the teams generally suck (in comparison to NBA teams, and to many college teams). You know, those teams college teams that go play over in europe for a "tour" and beat every team by 20-40 points. I'm talking about those teams. My main point though was amateur basketball overseas isnt anywhere near as tough as high school ball over here in the states. That's why you see so many international players that come over to college struggle right off the bat because they aren't used to playing guys that athletic. Now obvious high school to college in the U.S. is a big jump too, but just saying that's easier on a kid than amateur ball overseas to college basketball here.
