He lays out a valid case, even when he admits he was horrible. Shanle was a suspect on the board, and I think Harper was mentioned as well by someone with "sources."

This is what I thought all along! He couldn't have been happy about Spags burying him on the depth chart considering he was supposed to be a big part of the secondary this year.

It definitely makes sense. And, I agree that if this did in fact happen, Payton/The FO made the right move with this.

Ain't like he was good in the games. I'd say it was probably a combination of this and making Jason "Pain Train" David look good in coverage.

Eh, I still think it was Shanle considering he said almost the same exact thing after Spags was fired. Thomas was cut at the same time too, and he was actually kind of decent, and not on a large contract either.
