Why in the hell would we cut our most versatile and best RB...

He's our most expensive.
Our staff is committed to Ingram.
Sproles is arguably our most versatile.
Ivory is arguably our best runner.
Cadet is arguably more than capable to be our 4th back.

Cadet hasn't proved anything in the NFL yet. Ivory runs hard and I like him but you have to wonder about his ball security issues at times.

PT is probably our most versatile back. He's an all-around good RB, decent pass blocker, arguably one of the most underrated(if not best) screen back in the game, and rarely fumbles. The way Payton uses RBs, I'm not sure how you could justify getting rid of him despite those points. Only thing Sproles does better than PT is he's a better receiving threat and has homerun speed+ST. It's not like PT is making 10 million a year. They have far more deserving people to be cut before him, IMO.

I think PT does pretty much everything you can possibly ask from him. He's not amazing in any one area in particular(except maybe his screen back ability), he just does everything good. The very definition of versatility. He even plays ST too.
