I just remember the last time they were a high seed and blew that game against UCLA in 06.
... a 2006 UCLA team that went to the championship game and had 3 players that are currently starting in the NBA, along with Jordan Farmar and Ryan Hollins.
I don't see any shame in losing a 2 point game to that team. LSU couldn't stay on the same court as the '06 Bruins.

You guys are all going to be eating crow when Gonzaga makes a deep run in this year's tourney. Yeah, because Gonzaga got upset in '06, they're going to suck this year. Nice logic. It's March Madness, so anything can happen, but this team will make it at least to the Elite Eight.
They are deep, talented, protect the ball and are skilled at every position. But most importantly, they have size and a nasty low post presence. In a tournament format, this is critical when outside shots are falling. Keep dismissing them. Your tears are going to be delicious.

There game against butler earlier this year was amazing I cud see butler back in the final four this year they are clutch even tho they jus got beat by St. Louis. A10 is stacked St. Louis , butler and vcu can prolly all get 6 seeds or higher. I remember the year the Missouri valley conference got 5 with crieghton, southern Illinois, Indiana state, Bradley and wichita st made it they were stacked that year

I don't trust the zags when they're favorites.
I agree with this. A mid level big ten team wiould take them out quick.

The difference between this year's Gonzaga and other Zag teams that underperformed in the tournament is that they have a super talented athletic big men. Few's teams have had a few good big men, but have mainly been guard dominated teams. There's no team in the country that has as good of a front line as Gonzaga with Elias Harris, Kelly Olynyk and Sam Dower. Kevin Pangos is a great steady shooting offensive guard, and Gary Bell Jr. is your typical streaky college shooter.
Gonzaga hasn't underperformed in the tournament based on their seedings, bar a few first and second round upsets. They typically lose to Final Four or championship caliber teams.
Sweet 16 team at least, national finalist at best.
Look at their non-conference wins:
@Oklahoma State
Oklahoma (neutral site)
Kansas State (neutral site)
Clemson (neutral site)
Davidson (neutral site)
West Virginia
Baylor
@Washington State
Add to that an undefeated conference record with two wins over St. Mary's.
Gonzaga is beatable when opposing teams can limit their possessions, as Gonzaga is one of the most efficient offensive team in the country, and drain a bunch of threes. It's what Butler and Illinois did well in their wins.

i'd like them just a little more if sacre was still there (for his would-be 17th year of eligibility)

Robert Sacre is a proud member of the Hollis Price "Wait he's still there" All Stars, along with Robbie Hummel, Jordan Shipley, Stephan Garcia etc.

DEpends on the draw. I have loved the ZAGS for years. FEW is a hell of a coach..... BUT I would love them to get to the final four.

They'll get knocked out by a Big East team. (Marquette, Georgetown Syracuse or Louisville) So Sweet 16 or Elite 8
