the honest to God truth and the elephant in the room that no one ever wants to address is the fact that the Gulf South is not a good basketball market.

The NBA disagreed in 2002, 2007, and 2012.

The honest to god truth is that the Hornets lack substantial corporate support and the key factors for getting attendance up: winning this season, winning last season, star power, legacy.

The other honest to god truth is that ATTENDANCE ISN'T AN ISSUE!!!! If it was, they wouldn't lower prices. Rather, they'd say, "The prices are fine, the team is fine; support the team or we are gone (in 2024)." That isn't happening. Rather, they are adjusting prices to fit the market with full knowledge of what the market factors really are.

Why not track hot dog sales? Temperature in the Arena? Which drink machines fill cups the most? Those matter just as much at present.

So keep focusing on useless things (at this times), keep raging at EXPECTED PERFORMANCE, keep complaining to complain. Meanwhile, others will focus on things that are relevant.
