Lebron's not gonna enter the dunk contest to go against Terrence Ross and Jeremy Evans and James White. Where's Durant, Westbrook. Anthony, Wade, Gay? I know Griffin did it last year but he can't do it more than once? Stars don't do the contest anymore that's just how it is

I think even in the past stars didn't used to do the dunk contest.
They did it when they were young players... "Upcoming stars".
Then we look back at the contests and realize how stacked they were. But people didn't know how good these players were going to become at the time.
