Yea, you will get a CP2000.
We got one a few months ago that apparently my wife's hospital retirement sold stocks and we never recieved a 1099 let alone new about last year. The IRS said we owed $3600, but I called and got it sorted out and faxed a copy of the 1099's and got the case closed. They just need the cost basis and stuff like that
