The ideas of the menu are great and for the most part so was the food. Our server seemed to be somewhat slow on timing the items and drinks but I won't let a single server change my opinion of the place. Highly recommended and very creative, but very far from creole standard New Orleans fare.

Gospel right here. I liked it when I went but I worry about the longevity of a place like this at that location. Since it is not the typical New Orleans creole joint, I don't see it on the convention goers hit list. I hope it continues to thrive though. I might check it out next weekend.

Ridiculous. The place does great business. They're opening up another as a result.

Old school New Orleans has taken a significant back seat in recent years to the new places that are killing it. I love it.
