Also. I had a taste of my brew after measuring the gravity. It's going to be pretty damn good. I loved the hop flavor, and once that sweet wort converts, it's going to be tasty, i hope. I used white labs california ale yeast. First time using white labs, typically i use wyeast.

Yeah, I sparge pretty slow. Takes a good while to get to volume.

My efficiencies have all been really low since my first all grain batch. Trying to figure out why.

I've used White Labs plenty, and used the same with my pale ale this weekend too.

I can't believe I've been using a 5 gallon carboy for my primary up until now. No wonder I've had issues with the airlocks and blowout tube

Decided to use the bucket this time, and no issues at all. Went ahead and stayed with the blowout tube though, just in case.
