Cody Crawford reminds me of a Down´s Syndrome Schmeichel.
Why, because he is so loving and inspiring?

And it's Cropper, not Crawford.

I understood ´Spikey´, I just now heard ´Mikey´.
Cropper. Should be playing the guitar.

I thought you were making a reference to his hair.

I don´t really know. He´s big, really big, hulking, and I guess the Down´s Syndrome comment comes from him still being a person with the gawky teenager-esque movements at isolated times.

Costa Rica mad that they're having to play Cuba.

Yeah, athletes eat in Cuba.

are these chicanos open to being called up by Mexico when of absolute age, or are we all sure they´ll stay ´murrican?
Pretty sure they'll stay.

is the profusion of black costa rican players due to ´murrican´forays into the country, or slavery?
Slavery. Same with Brazil.

Thank you, Cwill
Nevertheless, they speak the same Spanish, and they´ll live like kings in Mexico.

What was the result? Was that short left winger for us a beast again?

Maybe a little light. I thought everyone but our Keep was Hispanic.

I counted our black and white bench
Posted on 2/23/13 at 12:03 am to Jumbeauxlaya
OK, I never saw the bench. I'd assume we won, I left in the 80th.

A larger percentage of the US's hispanic population plays soccer than our black, white, asian, etc populations. It's about time we start identifying some of that talent.
quote:
Joya is very happy playing for the United States but it is a different situation than the one he envisioned when he was young. As the son of two Mexican-born parents, it was Joya’s childhood dream to instead play for the Mexican national team.
The rivalry between the United States and Mexico in soccer is extremely tense but when Joya was selected by Ramos for his first camp, his desire to continue to play for the United States became steadfast. He is now at the point where the thought of playing for Mexico is just a memory.
“When I was young I wanted to play for Mexico,” Joya said. “After [Ramos] called me, I have a lot of love for the U.S shirt. I actually want to stay [with them]. I don’t think I would play for Mexico, to be honest. I want to play for the U.S national team and my mind is pretty much made up.”
