Burgers, steaks, sausage, and pan searing fish outside on the burner attachment. That's about all I find mine is good at. IMO, chicken stinks as does smoking anything. I have a gas smoker that does the trick there. I still wouldn't give up on charcoal If I were you. Nothing I like better than chicken over charcoal. It just isn't the same without it. I still find it difficult to regulate my heat properly for brisket, or chicken.
