There's places all over the New Orleans area. First, you've got Lake Pontchartrain. Plenty of room for pleasure cruising in that boat.

East of the city you have Bayou Bienvenue/Intracoastal Waterway/Rigolets/Lake Borgne/Delacroix/Hopedale for fishing and pleasure cruising. South of the city you have Lafitte/Port Sulpher/Venice for fishing. To the west you have Lake Maurepas where all the local "water-bound meat-heads" venture to run their cigarette boats and other high performance behemoths!

You won't be able to get into the shallow bays, bayous and cuts with that thing but you'll be fine.

Yeah seabrook harbor looks pretty close to Lakeview and looks like ill be able to access lake pontchartrain and lake borgne from that marina. V-hull is nice for the waves but very hard to to fish shores and creeks
