There are dry stacks near seabrook (in town) and you can fish the lake or Bienvenue marshes easily from there. Several other launches outside town have storage as well.
there is good freshwater fishing and the best saltwater fishing all within two hours of town.
Your boat will work fine, but a 22-24 ft cc bay boat works out better if you fish a lot.
