I like Creoles the best. But plant big or better boys also for variety. Tomatoes aren't hard to grow. Hard to have perfect plants but I don't care about that. Two plants are more than enough for two people. I normally plant about eight and have some to give awy.
I plant two in pots every year. Plant them early and keep on porch for freeze protection. Normally get a few early one if of them.

Put down a seeper hose. Get one of those cheap timers from walmart and let it water them every morning during the heat of the summer. I have to put up tin plates to scare away the birds and squirrels and seven dust them every once in a while. Other than that, that is all I have to do. I usually plant 6 plants and have plenty to give away. I will plant alot more this year because I want to can some.
