Microsoft market share this generation increased a lot, and Sony's market share went way down. To look at this generation's sales in a vacuum is dumb, especially considering Xbox is a much newer brand than PlayStation.

Except Microsoft sucks arse and has failed at every new venture they have tried the last few years.
Bing, Windows Phone, Windows 8 are all terrible and money pits, especially Bing.
Microsoft has been losing 1 billion on Bing per year.
