Well yeah, but one is a product of the other. Streisand has managed to be a miserable count for decades and her career is doing just fine.

streisand is more of a performer and icon, so she can get away with it

Streisand is probably my single most hated actress, but its hard to deny that she at least has some talent and done a few things worth a damn, unlike Heigl.
