While I respect Roger Ebert's experience in revewing movies, he gets it wrong pretty often. 2 stars for Clockwork Orange comse to mind as one of his worst. I saw he gave a mere 3 stars to In the Mood for Love, should be 4 no question.

The Shining and A Clockwork Orange were panned by a lot of critics when they first came out in theaters. In fact, some actors even boycotted the Oscars the year A Clockwork Orange was nominated because of its subject matter and the fact that it wasn't nearly as highly regarded today as it was then.

Some movies are like a bottle of wine….they taste better as the years go by.
