Magic had a HOFer...on his own, Kareem. And still Kareem was nearing the end toward the Lakers back-to-back titles.
But anyone suggesting Worthy is an all-timer w/o magic is insane.
It must have been nice getting the ball two feet from the rim on every fast break.
The rest of the Lakers were Byron Scott (good straight-up jump shooter from the corner on wide open kick-outs from Magic on fast breaks and that's about it, goggled white boy Rambis, Cooper (great defender, atrocious offensive guy) - AC Green - nice rebounder, not a lot of anything else...Mychael Thompson.
Magic made the music from that orchestra. Worthy is the only player (absent Kareem) who can be talked about as great...and he was a flying to the basket layup machine courtesy of Magic.
