Right...trading him right now benefits what?

I don't understand the push to deal Gordon before this trade deadline. Especially by McNamara. No wonder he only has 400 twitter followers

People are still butt hurt about the free agency ordeal so logic goes out the window. People talk about how trading him will give us salary cap space but what's the purpose of having money to spend if we still can't sign anyone with it. We are a small market and the highest profile player I have seen us sign is Ryan Anderson and he said no one else pursued him. Point is we need a risk like Gordon to work out because the chances of us attracting a talent such as his through free agency is not good.

Seems like most people just think that he will never be good to have on our team and want to get rid of him as soon as possible to just get anything in return. Thankfully Demps is more patient than our fans and won't let us get fricked over for emotional reasons.
