It seems like there’s something we’re missing here – maybe there is some history between the two that we’re unaware of.

I have always thought Boeheim was a smug a-hole...this further confirms that. No need to air your dirty laundry in public...especially after you just loss. No class.

He broke Boeheim's trust
And if he has the nuts to ask Jim a question after that and gets pnwed by Jim, at least ask a follow up question
