I haven't gone through the entire thread but if the PP7 interception that "wasn't" hasn't been listed, it needs to be.

Who knows if it would've changed the outcome but that was an int in the pros.

Stupid refs called it an incomplete pass.

By far...the biggest screw job in LSU history:

OSU losing to lowly Iowa State University...2011! Eff the luck of the Irish. How 'bout the luck of the Tide! Honestly, that's the whole lynch pin in bammer getting to the BCSNC game.

Assault and battery on our secondary at the end of the Iowa Capital One Bowl game! It led to the last second "win" for Iowa in Saban's last game as the LSU HC.

Yup LSU screwed ITSELF with HORRIBLE play calling.

My #1 screw job memory is from LSU's 0-3 loss to #2 ranked, unbeaten Notre Dame in 1970. IMO, we had the game won, or at worst, a tie. Mac called a characteristically brilliant defensive game. But then came that really, really questionable "pass interference" call against LSU that put ND in position to make the winning FG. As hhstigerdad wrote in a thread on this topic back in 2010...

The game film clearly shows that our DB made no contact with the ND receiver.
South Bend home cooking cost LSU that game, I'm sure.

Worst called game I have ever seen followed closely by

quote:

5. Alabama 2009 - Peterson interception was the ultimate, but there were many other plays. JJ's 1st down that wasn't. JJ gets speared by a player launching himself...no call. 4th and 6 and LSU jumps...5 yard penality, but Bama gets a 1st down.
