Yea, The food at Ruffino's is pretty damn average.

I feel bad for the guy that said it was the best steak ever. He really needs to try some new things.

I wish them the best, but they don't have a loyal base in Lafayette that they do in Baton Rouge. I'm pretty certain they will suffer the same fate as Cochon.

They don't have a loyal base in Lafayette because they haven't opened the fricking doors in Lafayette.

And I've eaten steak all over the country and I'd put that 45 day ribeye with any of them.

They will do good in Lafayette because Peter is a very good chef who is just now stretching out and getting really good and creative and because Ruffin is a great front of the house guy. They will do gangbusters compared to Cochon. They create a great atmosphere and Lafayette will finally get a good wine list.

people bad mouthing businesses and practically wishing them failure before they even open anywhere in louisiana is pretty fricking shitty ..
