These are high school kids. These rankings are way worse than preseason rankings for actual football.

247 lists Tre White as a 5 star. On team ranking LSU doesn't show having a 5 star.

I find it hilarious that we never have the top class in the nation, yet we are always pumped as the most talented team in the country on telecasts.
Take the 13+ invites to the combine, for instance..

LSU, BAMA, and Florida recruited the best high school talent in the deep south, meaning they have the best recruiting classes. Not sure when people will learn. Having ND, Ohio St, Michigan ahead of us in recruiting rankings is laughable.

I get what you're saying but we had #1 class in '09.

Yeah, don't really understand that. Unless they're going by composite rankings.

it honestly doesn't matter the order. Class rankings up at the top are irrelevant.
I would imagine there is a pretty decent difference between the number 1 and number 10 class. There is certainly a difference between size and speed. Not much maybe but it's there

We good pretty much top 6-7 are just about all equal you just have to have a offense that doesn't suck
Tell that to the rant. They act like no other school has talent, we should never lose.
Did you guys know we had a bunch of true freshman play last year from an class ranked outside the top15 by every service?
Yet we still were the most talented team in the country and shouldn't lose.

I don't believe this. There are prob 10-15 teams equally talented. They don't factor in actual needs of a team. And the amount you take factors in as well.
Think about this, if all those Jr's didn't leave, we'd have 11 less signees. We wouldn't have had room. Thus prob making this class ranked a lil lower.

By only one service, and I believe that was Espn.
That class had a few guys never even make it to fall practice. Ainsworth and hicks are 2 4 stars that come to mind yet they were factored in the final rankings.
