I hope it doesn't turn in to another JJ vs JL drama. whenever one makes a misque the ranters say the other guy should be playing. Oh what am i thinking it's the rant it predestined to be.

Gotta love it. Post a simple opinion, and it's "who can be the wittiest and most insulting smartass". TD.com

I'm gonna have to disagree with you here. Yes, Jennings is a very good, athletic QB. But, I think Rettig has more potential. First off, he's bigger, which may seem like an over rated trait when you look at the Drew Brees' and Russel Wilsons of the world, but the fact is that they are exceptions. It becomes increasing more difficult to develop when you can't see over the line in front of you, not saying he won't be a stud just it'll be more difficult for him. Second, Rettig's arm is ridiculous. I'd venture to say he has the strongest arm coming in to LSU since JR. Third, his foot work is very very good for a high school kid. He slides well in the pocket to avoid pressure and is deceivingly quick when he needs to get outside of the pocket. Fourth, he's got very good pocket presence and can "feel" pressure and adjust accordingly. I will say that Jennings has very good presence also I just feel Rettig has a slight edge at the moment in that category. Jennings does seem to make better reads but hasn't quite learned the perfect touch just yet, that comes with repetition. But, it is an advantage for Rettig because he does have better touch. I'm not saying one will be better than the other because it's impossible to predict things like that for kids coming out of high school. But, Rettig has the edge, in my mind, coming in.

gtfo! U lost all credibility when u said he was bigger. They are the same height and Jennings is a little heavier.

Jerrod Randall had the strongest arm since JR. He just never developed accuracy.
