In my search, I also found a Ratphuc Hobley Twitter:

Kendall Thompson was really interested in LSU but had been committed to Texas since the summer of his senior year. He wanted to make a secret visit to LSU without anyone knowing. Well, in the modern age of social media, nothing is secret and it came out, Texas coaches saw it and after that things got a little fuzzy.
People said the Longhorn coaches tracked down Thompson and brought him back home, while others said they saw him in some nice customized car riding around campus. A great urban legend recruiting story
