I thought they killed a lot of big deer in the Feliciana parishes?

I think they do but IMO those two(among a few others in surrounding area) are the best.

Back when I was growing up there, quite a few big ones were killed off 68 and down around Thompson Creek and the Mississippi River area.
Gaines Farm next to Asphodel on 68 shot a good size one when I was about 15. So I know at least East Feliciana has them. Also out Dr Jack's on the cutover between Norwood and Liberty there are usually quite a few standing around in his fields. Generally saw at least 1 big one every time. A lot of hardwoods there in the hilly areas. I've heard they get sone pretty big ones from the Tunica area out near Angola and Tunica Falls as well.
