steam is on a 2TB 5400 rpm green drive and i have no lag issues, fwiw.
since you already have it on an SSD though, you might notice a slow down. (my steam has never been on an SSD so i have no reference point)

if no one can come up with a compatibility issue with RAID though i think i would go with it since you would be buying a single drive instead of two (or instead of a much larger and more expensive ssd)

Slower loading time maybe. Not game lag.

youre talking about buying another ssd right?

What I'm thinking now is to buy a 2-3TB HDD and move my steam games and general storage there. The reason I bought the 500gb HDD i did is because it had a 5 year warranty, so I think I will leave it as my backup. thoughts?
