No. Nobody forces anyone to play football. If you dont want concussions, don't play.

Exactly. You keep hearing all these players saying "Had they known ..." and "The NFL hid this from us ..."

Yet, you don't see any players quitting today because they're fearful of the long-term effects of head injuries. The players of today HAVE TO KNOW after all these lawsuits. Yet, not one has stepped up and said, "O.K., I'm going to give up my multimillion dollar contract because I'm afraid of the long-term consequences."

And, the players of yesterday wouldn't have done a damn thing differently. Don't get me wrong -- I think they're a lying bunch of scumbags because they ALL KNEW. And, yet, they kept on playing.

In legal parlance it's called ASSUMPTION OF RISK. You want that multimillion dollar contract and the "playa" lifestyle -- there's a price to pay.
