Actually that might be another beef of mine.
This whole show is the anti-Scully. She was always skeptical no matter what on X-Files, whereas NOBODY acts surprised by anything on Fringe.
Nobody. I could understand the main cast getting used to bad weirdness but NOBODY seems shocked or surprised by anything happening.
So yes, I do think he could be tried in court for murder with mind control.

I think that everyone but Walter has their moments where they're mortified initially... but after everything they've already seen - They know it's happened so it's not like "That can't happen" and they go about figuring it out.

the only person who wasn't really shocked by finding out about the shite that happens with the Fringe team is Walter and that's b/c he had been doing crazy arse experiments years before their creation.
